Ingredients

  • 01.

    Pre-heat your oven or convection microwave to 180° C.

  • 02.

    Using hand whisker beat butter to make it creamy. Butter should be at room temprature.

  • 03.

    Now sieve and add flour, sugar, baking powder & baking soda.

  • 04.

    After mixing all dry ingredient add cumin seed ( jeera) and ajwain to the flour mixture & combine it properly.

  • 05.

    Using your hand start making a dough of the mixture by adding milk very slowly & carefully.

  • 06.

    Dough should not be very sticky & gluey. it has to be soft & firm.

  • 07.

    Now make small balls of the cookie dough by hand & press them a little with your thumb.

  • 08.

    Make them in equal size & place them on a non-stick baking tray. If you dont have non-stick tray then put parchment paper on any baking dish.

  • 09.

    Put them in oven & bake for 20-25 mins at 170° or until slightly golden.

  • 10.

    Let them cool for 10 mins before removing them from baking sheet.

  • 12.

    Now place it on wire rack & let them get cool completely.
